As most of you will know back in June I had a beautiful baby boy who I love. While I was pregnant I gained 3 stone, putting me up 3 dress sizes. As it’s a new year, I have decided that I am really going to try lose the baby weight and get healthier so I can run around after the little man without losing my breath.
I really have been far too lazy and need to kick myself in the backside to get some motivation going. So here is my plan:
- Get out for an hour walk everyday but if its raining stick on my Charlie Brooks Before & After Exercise DVD.
- No more snacking between meals and cut down on junk food.
- Eat more vegetables. I love vegetables but lately both myself and the hubby have been eating quite poorly.
- Drink more water. I used to be great at drinking my eight glasses a day but it has slipped big time in the last few months.
- Plan a reward for myself for a week of good behaviour, I’m thinking a bottle of coke (my weakness) or packet of crisps.
I’ll be posting once a week on how I am getting on, including how much weight I have lost/gained, how I am feeling and what exercise I have actually managed to do. Also once I have gotten down to my desired dress size 12, I will be getting rid of all my clothes and going on a major shopping spree.

Best of luck with your weight loss I lost 2 stone last year and I’m trying to maintain it now. I know its a tough thing to do but the feeling of achievement when you do it is fantastic Instead of rewarding myself with food I got myself something even if it was small like a lipstick, I set myself realistic goals and bought something when I reached them,that way I kept focused and there’s no better feeling then adding new things you can use or wear when you’ve lost weight
