Catrice have done it yet again with the new Million Styles Collection that will be hitting your local Catrice stand in April. I have put myself on a nail polish ban but I know once I see these lovelies I’ll be fighting with myself not to buy at least one.

Million Styles are effect top coats, Applied on their own or on top of your favorite Ultimate Nail Lacquer colors, they ensure fascinating effects: a 3D jewel effect, a cool smokey look or subtle holographic shimmering glitter pigments in gold or multi-glitter. They feature a new flat extra broad brush so applying them is meant to be super accurate and just need one stroke to apply.

E.L.F is one of those makeup brands where their website is lethal to a girl like me. I had been holding out for a few weeks on placing an order,but when a newsletter came into my inbox for free shipping and a free mystery bag, I couldn’t help myself but to go straight over and buy a few goodies.

ArtDeco Spring/Summer

ArtDeco is one of those brands I have a bit of a soft spot for,having worked with the products many years ago in Roches Stores (I miss Roches). I was lucky enough to get sent some samples of the collection to try out, which made for a happy day considering the week I’ve just had.

First up is two new additions to my nail polish family. I got sent Soft Coral and Metallic Soft Copper, but there is also a gorgeous Tawny Pink and 2 in 1 Base and Top Coat Aailable with the RRP of €10.90. The two colours I got sent look gorgeous and are definitely getting an outing soon.

There four new lipsticks in the collection called Soft Coral, Bittersweet Rose,(RRP €12.00)Shimmering Coral and Rusty Rouge(RRP €16.75)

For lovers of Lipgloss,there are these yummy shades.

ArtDeco Lip Lacquer RRP €13.40 I like both of these shades, very wearable and add a lovely shine to your lips.

Next up is the main reason I first fell for ArtDeco, their buildable eyeshadow/blush pallettes. I love how you can have an empty pallette and then choose whatever eyeshadows you like.I find the eyeshadows well pigmented and long lasting.

What girl doesn’t need eyeliner? ArtDeco soft eyeliners (RRP €8.65) are perfect for an girl that needs a long lasting eyeliner,what makes them even better is they are waterproof so ideal for a bride.

New Year’s Beauty Resolutions

With 2012 just around the corner (Is it just me or has 2011 flown by?) I’ve decided to make some new years beauty resolutions.

  • Remember to use eye cream!
  • Follow a better skin care routine! (no more quick face wipes)
  • Remember to take my makeup off at night!
  • Eat more healthy foods and drink more water!
  • Organise my makeup properly and throw out expired Makeup!
  • Keep wearing fun nail polishes!
  • Keep experimenting with said nail polish (same goes for makeup)!
  • Try not to buy makeup on a whim!
  • Wear lipstick more!
  •  Apply body lotion every night!
