I’ve been wanting to try colour block nails for a while now,so decided to give it a go while sitting here in front of the fire.
*The colours I used for the below look is NYC In A New York Minute 242 Uptown & Catrice Nail Lacquer 380 Forget Me Not*
- Clean nails with Nail Polish Remover to remove any traces of Old Nail Polish.
- Apply two coats of the lighter of your two chosen shades.
- Apply a layer of top coat. ( I use Catrice Nail Expert Quick Dry & High Shine)
- When the top coat is dry, use some french manicure guides to mark out where you want the darker shade to go. (Do you think I could find the guid in my makeup drawers? So I’ve used clear sellotape,not ideal but it kinda did the job)
- Apply the darker shade to the tips of your nails.
- Allow to dry and apply a final layer of top coat.
