Liz Earle Cleanse and Polish

Ages ago I was sent the popular Liz Earle CLeanse and Polish to review and I have just used the last drop of it so thought it was time to review it. I’m a bit late to the Liz Earle party but if the Cleanse and Polish is anything to go by, the products are gorge.

Image From Liz Earle Website

I was sent the starter kit whcih included 100ml Cleanse and Polish and two muslin cloths in a neat little travel bag (Ideal for holidays). The cleanser is two phase based, phase one removes makeup (even stubborn mascara) and phase two is polishing off the cream with a muslin cloth removing yuk dead skin cells and leaving your skin feeling clean and looking radiant. The cleanser smells of eucalyptus (yum) and is cream based.

I’ve never really paid much attention to the use of muslin cloths for cleansing but I think I am becoming a convert. I noticed while using this my cotton wool pads lasted longer and the cloths are easily cleaned by popping them in the washing machine with the little mans clothes. Another thing I like about the product is the ingredients list: Beeswax, Cocoa Butter, Eucalyptus Oil, Chamomile Oil  and Rosemary essential oils. This is a treat for your sense of smell.

If you haven’t tried Cleanse and polish, I would highly recommend it. Now is a great time to aswell because from the 23rd-25th of this month it is being sold on the website for the original launch price of €11.75. I  ordered Sanctuary Cleansing Oil off Cloud10Beauty to try out but when it’s empty I think I will be returning to this.

xxx Have you tried this revolutionary product or is there something else from Liz Earle you have tried that you would recommend for a Liz Earle beginner like me? xxx

Yes to Loveliness

Last night I popped along to Newman House to see what goodies Premium distribution have on offer. Well, I was like a kid in a sweet shop between seeing my old favourites St. Tropez, Yes To!, Sanctuary and OPI and discovering new ones Just Lashes.

There will always be a place in my heart for St. Tropez, the first tan I ever bought, over ten years ago at this stage. The mousse was always my product of choice. Since that first purchase, St. Tropez has grown as a brand now offering a wash off tan (great if you don’t want to have a tan for days) tans with SPF and tan enhancer (genius) tans for those who have sensitive skin and skin illuminators. They are going to have a gorgeous giftset in for christmas, containing self-tan mousse, wash-off dark spray, a tanning mitt and a shimmer brick priced at €39.95 – a brilliant price considering there is easily €60 worth of products in the giftset.

*Showbiz Alert: St. Tropez is THE tan for this years X Factor (so thats the reason the contestants look naturally tanned)*

Yes To! has been treated to a makeover with pretty packaging and the introduction of the new Yes To Blueberries range. This brings Yes To! up to five lovely ranges, the others being Yes To Carrots, Yes to Cucumbers, Yes to Tomatoes and Yes to Baby. Yes to Blueberries is for age damaged and mature skin, smells lovely and has really pretty packaging. The range is so big that I will dedicate a full post to it later in the week.

There is just something about OPI that makes me smile :) and with the new collaboration with the Muppets, my smile is even bigger. A gorgeous selection of colours with fun names including Gone Gonzo, Warm & Fozzie and Excuse Moi. Single bottles are priced at €12.95 and 3 minis are €16.95. I know I’ll be spoiling myself this christmas with these nail polishes.

Guess what else is back for Christmas? Shatter is, with four new shades: red shatter, silver shatter, black shatter and gold shatter. I love OPI shatter, ~I’ve tried many of the copycats and none of them come close to OPI

Sanctuary, the spa skincare experts have lots of lovely goodies to offer including a 2 step spa facial (€29.95) containing a warming microdermabrasion polish to get rid of dead skin cells and the therapist secret facial oil which penetrates the skin to produce a natural glow. Hands and Feet need love too so treat them to Spa Perfect  Manicure (€23.95) and Spa Perfect Pedicure (€15.95). There are some many lovely sets from Sanctuary this year, I could be writing about them all day.

Onto my new favourite Just Lashes created by Ja’Maal Buster, lash expert to the stars including Kim Kardashian and Rhianna. I got to try out the Looking for Love Lashes (such a sweet name) and was very impressed. I am very fussy when it comes to falsies and not many reach my standard. These lashes feel light on your eyelids and go on easily enough with the help of the genius glue that goes on blue but dries clear. A little trimming may be required but that’s quite common with all false eyelashes. I didnt want to take these lashes off last night, which is unusual for me as I am always counting the minutes until I can take off falsies. I also go “Sold Out Show” to try so am keeping them for a special occassion. The lashes are priced at €6.99 and are available in chemists.

The Goodies:

We all got treated to a Goody Bag last night which included St. Tropez Wash Off Instant Glow Body Lotion, Just Lashes,Yes To Carrot C Though the Night Moistuirisng Cream, Sanctuary Body Wash and a sample of Yes To Tomatoes Facial Hydrating Lotion
