Weightloss Journey Week 3

So this week was an out and out disaster. Remember that cold I thought I could feel coming? Well it arrived in all its glory and was really sick so there was no exercising this week. We also received some news of a family memeber falling ill so hubby went off to be there and I stayed home because me and little man were too sick to travel. Eating wise I was all out of sorts so wasn’t very good.

All in All, I stayed the same weight as last week so I am determined to get out walking this week and eat much better.

Weight Loss Journey Week 2

This week went slightly better than last week. My little man has a viral infection so I have been focussing on getting him well.Not that there is much I can do for him other than lots of TLC.

  • No Junk food hit my lips this week, something I’m very proud of as I am majorly craving the cheese and onion peanuts from Tesco,they are addictive!Anytime I’m in my local Tesco I fight with myself not to get a packet.
  • Walking was non existant this week as I didn’t want little man out in the cold so instead I broke other Charlie Brooks Before and After Workout on Monday, Wednesday and Friday.I find the DVD brilliant and think it is ideal inspiration for me as its based on Charlie Brooks losing baby weight. Some of the sections are quite fun which keeps it from getting boring. I also have the Carmen Electra workout somewhere so plan on rooting it out and rotating the two.
  • I actually broke out the Pu Erh Tea everyday this week, drinking 2-3 cups a day. Although apparently you can drink up to 6 cups. Going to test how hard it is to do that this week, although I figure thats 2 cupswith each meal so might be ok.
  • I did the weekly shop and didn’t buy any junk food,instead I opted for lots of fruit and veg. Oh and I bought Rooibos as I was curious about the taste. Surprisingly it’s quite nice, kinda like regular tea but with a cinnamony after taste. It’s recommened to drink before you go to bed and is caffeine free.

So what did the scales report this week? A 2.5 lb loss :) which I am delighted with. I reckon if I keep up the exercise and healthy food I’ll be a skinny malink in no time.

My aim for this week is to up my water intake, but with the Pu-Erh and Rooibos tea this shouldnt be a problem. I know have a cold so am hoping this doesn’t floor me for the week. I am also thinking of doing a detox so am spendingthe day researching a healthy helping hand.
